CGD are designing intelligent and responsible solutions to infill and increase housing supply which aims to activate our communities, minimize urban sprawl & respond to the growing population pressures resulting in ever increasing housing prices, culminating in “the housing crisis”.

We have been attending council community focus groups and commenting upon Council strategic plans for over 10 years.  We have continuously sought to encourage mid & low rise housing solutions as part of the “missing middle”. 
Single dwellings on large urban blocks as the primary housing solution is unsustainable and increasingly unaffordable. 
CGD support Planning NSW’s efforts to encourage alternative design solutions, to increase densities & change the mix of housing supply.

CGD are exploring opportunities to create terrace houses, mid street dual occupancies, triple dwellings on corner blocks and mid-rise whole of floor family apartments on specific sites where neighbour impacts are mitigated.  We encourage the concept of multi-generational living to address housing supply.
